Life Groups are one of the primary ways we grow as disciples at King of Kings. Through your willingness to facilitate conversations, organize gatherings, open your home, and care for others, God creates spaces where people experience His grace in everyday life.

Pray for your group, make prayer part of every gathering, and encourage members throughout the week.
Every gathering should include God's Word, whether through deep Bible study, short devotion, or discussion.
Create meaningful relationships. Be transparent. Share meals, conversations, and life together.
A Life Group is a natural support system! Care for one another's needs as you walk together. Plan to serve your community together at least once each trimester.

You don't have to do it alone. Every group should have a co-leader whenever possible.

Whether your group centers around Bible study, serving, parenting, bowling, or another shared interest, we'd love to talk with you about your ideas, answer your questions, and help you take the next step toward leading a Life Group! Contact the appropriate Board of Lay Ministry member to start the process.
Homes, coffee shops, restaurants, parks, workplaces, or the church—wherever works best for your group.
Weekly is encouraged because it builds stronger relationships, but every other week or monthly is acceptable if it's consistent.
CPH resources are pre-approved. Other studies should be discussed with the church staff first.
That's okay! Tell your group you'll research it, encourage everyone to explore Scripture together, and reach out to the pastor if needed.
Start with people you already know: your neighbors, coworkers, and those God has already placed in your context. Watch for new faces at church and pray that God brings the right people.
You're never leading alone. Pastor, staff, Board of Lay Ministry leaders, and church resources are available to help with curriculum, difficult situations, technology, room reservations, and more.
Reach out to Pastor Chris or the church office immediately if someone expresses thoughts of self-harm, abuse, violence, or another situation involving personal safety. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 first, then notify church staff either by phone call, text, or email.
