A Life Group is a Christ-centered community where people both inside and outside of King of Kings gather regularly to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, pray together, study God's Word, serve others, and encourage one another through life's joys and challenges. It's how we do life together!
We believe God created us for community. Life Groups provide a place where faith moves beyond Sunday morning and becomes part of everyday life. Whether centered around Bible study, shared interests, service opportunities, life stages, or fellowship activities, every Life Group is rooted in Scripture and focused on helping people in our community follow Jesus together.
Life Groups are more than classes or social gatherings. Every Life Group seeks to incorporate four essential elements:
Prayer – caring for and praying with one another.
Scripture – growing together through God's Word.
Fellowship – building authentic relationships and sharing life together.
Service – putting faith into action by caring for one another and serving others.
No matter the format or focus, these core practices help Life Groups become places where people experience the love of Christ and grow as disciples.
From the beginning of Scripture to the end, God calls His people into community. The early church gathered regularly to learn, pray, share meals, care for one another, and grow together in faith (Acts 2:42-47).
Life Groups are important because they create intentional space for:
Simply put, we weren't meant to do life alone.
At King of Kings, our mission is:
"Revealing Christ's Gracious Reign Over Everyday Life Together."
We believe discipleship happens through four connected experiences:
While people may enter at any point, each experience naturally strengthens and enriches the others. Life Groups play a unique role by helping people build relationships, deepen their faith, and live out what they learn in worship.
Because of their impact, expanding Life Groups is a key part of our vision for the future. We want every person at King of Kings to have opportunities to grow, connect, serve, and experience authentic Christian community.
Life Groups offer what many people are searching for:
