Mary Ann Gill

Mary Ann became a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church after marrying her late husband Bill in 2012. She is a dedicated church member and has co-facilitated numerous bible studies. Mary Ann was lead in conducting a financial review of the church’s accounting system for the Fiscal Year ending December 31, 2021.

She earned her undergraduate degree in accounting and continued her education earning a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Ethics and a PhD in Leadership. After thirty-five years of serving in numerous leadership positions in the accounting/budgeting divisions of State agencies, she retired as the Chief Financial Officer of the Texas Education Agency in 2019. Mary Ann desires to serve her church community by using the experience and opportunities she has been blessed with as a way to express her faith. Mary Ann is a proud mother of one
daughter, a son-in-law and two grandsons. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
