If you are new to the Christian faith, one of the first things to do is to be baptized. Please speak with our pastor or worship assistants if you or someone in your family is interested in receiving God's gifts in the waters of Holy Baptism.
Aside from worshiping together on Sundays, we love to spend time with one another around coffee and donuts. Come on by after worship in the Fellowship Hall! We also serve together here at King of Kings. You can serve by being a greeter, usher, or member of our Altar Guild. Do you sing or play an instrument? There's a place for that here, too. We always welcome help with our Easter Eggstravaganza, Pumpkin Patch, VBS, and other community events.
Did you know that we have a preschool? The Children's Learning Center (CLC) loves to teach children from 18-months to 5-years-old. Join the CLC Service League to help with preschool activities. Wherever you look, there are ways to participate in the life of King of Kings.
Each Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall, we offer various Life Groups for all ages. What is a Life Group, you ask? Life Groups are how we at King of Kings connect with Jesus and share life with one another through Bible study, service, fellowship, and prayer. Each Life Group offers you a faith community for various areas of study or stages of life. Life Groups may meet for Bible study, service activities, or even dinner and drinks. Christianity 101 is a Life Group dedicated to helping our members and members-to-be learn all about the Christian faith. Sunday School and Family Nights help us provide Life Groups for even the youngest disciples. See the "Ministries" drop-down menu for information on offerings for each age group. Whatever stage of life you're in, there's a place for you!
Financial giving is an act of faith, worship, and obedience. It is an act of love and thankfulness from your heart to God. At King of Kings, your gifts will support the ministries and staff of this congregation. A tenth of our offerings are sent to support church planters and new churches, ministries, and missions locally, nationally, and globally.
We are located at 17000 Smyers Ln. in Round Rock, right behind the Whataburger and in front of the H-E-B on 620.
You can park in either our front parking lot (closest to H-E-B) or the back lot (across the street from Chipotle.) There are designated handicap spots available in both lots.
Use the doors labeled "Sanctuary" to enter on Sunday morning. Someone will be waiting to greet you and answer any questions you may have! Be sure to grab a bag from the visitor's station with your gift from us and more information about King of Kings.
When you enter the Sanctuary, you can take any seat you'd like! In each row, you will see a QR code that takes you to our Connection Card when you scan it. We like for everyone, members and guests alike, to fill one out each Sunday. This gives you a chance to let us know more about you and if you would like anyone from the church to connect with you. It's also how you can submit a prayer request. If you'd like, you can fill out a physical Connection Card from the pocket on the seat in front of you and place it in the offering plate in the back of the church.
You can expect a sermon, a message from our pastor, that will be based on Biblical truths and will always point to Jesus. It's our hope that these spiritual truths will be understandable and have a direct application to your everyday life. One of our biggest goals is to leave you feeling loved by God and equipped to confidently face life outside these walls.
You will receive a paper worship guide when you arrive, or you can find the entire service projected on the screen up front. Each week our service is filled with the Word of God, including times when we confess our sins and receive forgiveness, hear Bible passages read aloud, share God's peace with one another, and participate in Communion. To find out more about Communion, please click here.
We alternate each week between traditional hymns played on an organ and contemporary songs led by a worship band. As you join us more frequently, you'll hear a little bit of everything!
You will see some people in suits and dresses and others in jeans, shorts or other casual attire. We just ask that your attire is respectful of fellow worshipers. Honestly, we care more about worshiping Jesus with you than what you’re wearing!
Typical services are a little more than one hour long.
We love having kids in worship! We believe that being surrounded by God's Word and His people is the best place they can be. Whether your children sit quietly or make noise, we're happy to have them here with us!
We know that sitting through church with a little one can sometimes be difficult, so there is a wiggle room where you can participate in the service while your child gets the “wiggles” out. This room is located to the right of the sanctuary towards the front. We also offer a staffed nursery for infants through 3 year-olds, located to the right of the sanctuary as you enter.
Each week, one of our ministry staff gives a short lesson that is based on the Bible and geared towards children. During this time, your kids are invited to come to the front of the church to listen to this special message just for them!
We have activity bags hanging in the church entryway. Feel free to grab one for each of your children to use during church, but please return it afterwards so we can reuse them.
We have Sunday School for Preschoolers and elementary-aged children , as well as middle and high school youth. Sunday School meets from 10:30-11:30 on a seasonal schedule. Find out more on our Kids Ministry or Youth Ministry pages.
We offer coffee and donut fellowship across the entryway hall on a seasonal schedule. Come have a donut, enjoy a cup of coffee, and meet friendly faces after church in the Fellowship Hall until 10:30 am.
During our education hour, from 10:30-11:30 Sunday mornings, we enjoy studying the Bible together in Kids' Sunday School, Youth Bible Study, and Adult Life Groups. We offer a staffed nursery during this time. Find out more on our Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, or Adult Ministry pages.
